Oracle goes supersonic with AI

The backbone of enterprise AI

👋 Good morning or evening, wherever you are. It’s Tuesday.

Oracle is going supersonic.

They just launched OCI Zettascale10, one of the most powerful AI clusters ever built, paired with an autonomous AI Lakehouse designed for open, multi-cloud data.

The scale is wild, and Oracle has now tied it all together with a full-stack architecture built for the enterprise layer of AI.

At Oracle AI World, the company unveiled AI Database 26ai and the AI Data Platform, combining AI-native databases with a unified data and model layer. Together, they enable agentic workflows, vector search, and secure multicloud integration for enterprise-scale AI adoption.

And powering it all, 131,072 AMD Instinct MI355X GPUs are coming online, anchored by a 50,000-GPU supercluster now ramping up under Oracle’s expanded partnership with AMD.

While everyone’s worried about a bubble, Oracle’s busy building the gravity holding it together.

OK let’s keep going ↓

🔥 Creative pulse

Rewatch this oner from Julien Nicaud.

The opening scene is a full 2 minutes and 12 seconds in one continuous shot.

I want to include this thought:

Everyone’s chasing AI collaboration, but the real leverage is co-direction.

Soon you’ll upload a script, watch AI generate hours of raw footage, and shape the final cut together. It’s not assistance anymore…it’s authorship.

P.S. If you’re passionate about AI creative, join the club. The people inside will pull you higher than you could go alone.

Inside you’ll find filmmakers and festival-recognized directors, Cannes Lions jurors, studio veterans, award-winning creatives from film, gaming, music, and ads, plus early builders of the AI tools shaping the industry.

It’s global, it’s full of ambitious creators, and it’s where the next wave of breakthroughs is happening.

Julien’s AMA is live in the club until Friday. Everyone’s been asking how he pulled off the one-shot film, and it’s already become our most popular session. After Friday, it’ll be archived for members to revisit.

One insight or connection inside could change your life. Join now.

  • OpenAI is generating $13B in annual revenue but plans to spend $1T over the next decade, betting on government, consumer, and infrastructure ventures to make the math work.

  • Google is investing $9B in South Carolina to expand AI infrastructure, add data centers, and train 160+ local tech and energy apprentices by 2027.

  • Ten major foundations launched Humanity AI, a $500M fund to shift AI’s focus from corporate profit to human flourishing and social good.

  • WPP commits $400M to Google AI in a five-year deal to redefine marketing with real-time, generative personalization at global scale.

  • Checkmarx surpassed $150M ARR as its AI-powered application security platform becomes the global leader in securing AI-generated code for over 860 enterprises.

  • Nvidia joined Lila Sciences’ $115M round, valuing the AI lab automation startup at $1.3B.

  • FleetWorks raised $17M led by First Round Capital to scale its dual-agent AI dispatcher that automates freight matching for carriers and brokers.

🧠 Thought starters

3 things to think about…

1.) Hollywood script readers are testing AI to see who gives better feedback. The classic instincts vs algo test.

The models understand structure, rhythm, and tone, but they still miss the invisible heartbeat that makes a story live.

But, everyone already knows that…so what matters now is scale.

For a century, everything in film began with one question: do I care.

The next era of storytelling may depend on whether that question survives once machines start deciding what gets made.

2.) 180,000 Citi employees now use AI tools across 83 countries. The same idea is spreading through every sector as leaders begin measuring time gained instead of labor spent.

Great leaders won’t use AI to squeeze output…they’ll use it to return time.

3.) Profit used to mean more people. Now it means fewer, thinking faster.

The age of scale is over. The age of cognition has begun.

😂 Meme of the day

OpenAI needs to turn $13B into $1T. Guess they finally found the world’s oldest business model.
