NVIDIA Q2 Revenue Hits $46.7B

Data Center drives $41.1B, Blackwell up 17% sequentially

👋 Good morning/evening (wherever you are). It’s Wednesday.

NVIDIA pulled in $46.7B last quarter, up 56% from a year ago.

Most of that came from its Data Center unit ($41.1B), with Blackwell chips already showing 17% sequential growth. Margins held around 72%.

Despite the blockbuster results, the stock slipped in after-hours trading after NVIDIA guided to $54B in sales for the current quarter. The outlook points to strong growth but came in below the market’s loftiest expectations.

My quick takeaway:

Growth is powerful and demand for Blackwell is real, but the bar for NVIDIA keeps getting higher.
