ChatGPT changed the interface forever

The biggest changes in technology usually start with a new way to interact.

The mouse, the touchscreen, the social feed.

ChatGPT is the next one because it changes how people find information, make decisions, and create, all in the same place through the same interface.

When the interface changes, behavior changes. And when behavior changes, the biggest companies in the world rebuild around it.

Think about it:

Everyone is rolling out their own ChatGPT-style experiences. Check out Rakuten and Amazon. The list is growing fast.

Of course this could fail.

But when was the last time you saw this many brands copy the same idea this quickly? That’s how big this is.

Remember, everyone will copy it eventually. Maybe not the whole thing, but pieces of it will be everywhere.

It could easily become the default way you interact with every workspace.

  The Nvidia supplier expects the custom high-bandwidth memory sector to reach tens of billions of dollars as hyperscaler AI spending rises.

• Datasite buys Blueflame AI to speed up M&A

  The acquisition adds Blueflame’s agentic AI platform to Datasite’s suite, aiming to cut weeks from deal sourcing, due diligence, and investment analysis.

• Shopify launches ‘Universal Cart’

  Shopify’s new early access API lets AI agents search products across merchants, add items from multiple stores into a single cart, and complete checkout through Shopify’s compliant, branded flow.

• Indonesia proposes sovereign AI fund to boost tech ambitions

  A government white paper recommends creating a sovereign AI fund, managed by Danantara Indonesia, to attract investment and position the country as a regional AI hub by 2030.

• Heartflow raised $316.7M in its IPO at a $2.27B valuation for AI-enabled cardiovascular diagnostics

• Periodic Labs raised $200M at a $1B pre-money valuation led by a16z for AI-driven materials science

• Vulcan Elements raised $65M at a $250M valuation for tech and defense manufacturing expansion

• Datumo raised $15.5M in Series B bringing total funding to $28M for LLM evaluation and trust and safety tools
