Bloomberg is reporting that OpenAI expects to earn $12.7 billion in revenue this year. That would be triple its revenue from last year ($3.7 billion).

Apparently, it expects to bring in $29.4 billion in revenue next year.

• Anthropic wins early round in music publishers' AI copyright case

  U.S. District Judge Eumi Lee said that the publishers' request was too broad and that they failed to show Anthropic's conduct caused them "irreparable harm."

• Midjourney confirms v7 target date is 3/31. No link, it was mentioned in their office hours.

• Aura, an AI online safety solution for individuals and families, completes a Series G funding round and raises $140M equity and debt at a $1.6 billion valuation

• Nexthop AI, an AI infrastructure provider, launches with $110M Series A, led by Lightspeed Venture Partners

• Navina, an AI clinical intelligence startup, secures $55M Series C funding led by Growth Equity at Goldman Sachs Alternatives

• Dyna Robotics, an AI robotics company, announces a $23.5M seed round, co-led by CRV and First Round Capital

• GetReal Security, an AI cybersecurity firm, raises $17.5M in Series A funding, led by Forgepoint Capital

• Lumber, an AI construction workforce management platform, announces a $15.5M Series A led by Foundation Capital

And Nvidia is reportedly in talks to acquire Lepton AI (GPU reseller) for several hundred million dollars. Lepton was founded two years ago and raised an $11 million seed round in May 2023.
