More than 30% of the code written at Google is now created with help from AI, CEO Sundar Pichai said during Alphabet’s recent Q1 2025 earnings call. This means developers are accepting AI-generated suggestions in nearly one out of every three code changes.
Last October, it was 25%.

Elon Musk’s xAI is reportedly seeking up to $25 billion to fund Colossus 2, a $35 billion supercomputer expected to run 1 million NVIDIA GPUs.
Butterfly Effect, the Chinese startup behind Manus AI, raised $75 million in a round led by Benchmark, boosting its valuation to nearly $500 million.
Windfall, a provider of AI-driven people intelligence, raised $65 million in a Series B led by Morgan Stanley Expansion Capital, pushing its total funding past $100 million since launching in 2016.
