  Google says “You can now search what you see in AI Mode.”

• Microsoft releases AI-generated Quake II demo

  Powered by the Muse World and Human Action Model (WHAM) built by Microsoft Research, this tech demo offers an early look at how generative AI can simulate interactive gameplay.

  Bloomberg today announced the launch of AI-Powered Document Insights which uses generative AI to make it easier for research analysts and corporate decision makers to quickly surface insights from a company document by asking questions in everyday conversational language.

• Samsung Introduces Real-Time Visual AI Galaxy S25 Series

  Beginning April 7, Galaxy S25 series users can experience new visual conversation capabilities through a free software update.

• MBA Students at HBS Must Take AI Course To Graduate

  Harvard Business School introduced Data Science and AI for Leaders as a new requirement for all master’s in business administration candidates — signaling a shift in the important role artificial intelligence will play in business management.

The numbers:

• SignalFire, a data-driven venture firm, has raised $1 billion for its fifth and largest fund, which it will invest in applied AI companies.

• Shipping giant CMA CGM and tech startup Mistral AI expect rapid productivity gains from a 100 million euro partnership. The five-year partnership, which will bring CMA CGM's AI-related spending to 500 million euros ($550 million).

• Rumors are circulating that OpenAI is potentially buying Jony Ive and Sam Altman’s AI hardware startup. According to The Information, OpenAI could pay around $500 million for the fledgling company, called io Products.

• Krea has raised $83 million to develop a unified platform aimed at simplifying the use of generative AI for designers and visual creatives.

• Moonvalley, which is developing AI tools for video creation, has raised $43 million, according to an SEC filing.
