10% of the world uses ChatGPT
Over 800 million people
👋 Good morning/evening (wherever you are). It’s Monday.
According to Forbes, Sam Altman remarked that "something like 10% of the world uses our systems now—a lot," adding that the growth is happening "really fast."
It’s amazing…OpenAI will have 1 billion users very soon.
Also, I can’t believe this isn’t getting more attention:
ByteDance — yes, TikTok’s parent company — just dropped a 25-second demo from their updated AI video model, Seaweed.
Why’s that a big deal? Because even OpenAI’s Sora taps out at 20 seconds per clip.
Not long ago, generating a half-decent 5 to 10-second video was impressive. Now we’re already at 25.
Quick summary’s up on my LinkedIn if you’d rather skim it there.
Btw, Kling 2.0 is being unveiled tomorrow. Here’s the X broadcast link.
OK let’s keep going ↓
